Total electricity production in Macedonia in May 2016 amounted to 317.8 GWh, which is 8.8 % more than planned for this month (292.1 GWh), but 7.67 % less compared to the same period in 2015.
Electricity generation in hydropower plants was accounted for 44.9 % of the total sum and amounted to 142.7 GWh, which is 111.72 % more than planned for this month. Thermal power plants produced 52.39 % of the electricity (166.5 GWh), which is 23.09 % less than planned. The remaining 8.6 GWh or 2.71 % was produced by Bogdanci wind farm.
