According to Serbian media, state-owned power utility EPS has incurred loss in the amount of some 4.7 million euros from electricity thefts in the first half of 2017.
According to EPS’ findings, in the first six months of the year 3,256 consumers committed electricity theft, while the reduction of the cases of theft of electricity through modernization of the equipment for control of electric meters is among the priorities of the company.
