In order to ensure reliability and security of electricity supply and improve the quality of supplied electricity, Bosnian electricity transmission company Elektroprijenos BiH has signed a contract on the reconstruction of 110/35/10 kV substation Bijeljina.
The investment project includes reconstruction of the existing 110 kV facilities, procurement an installation of two power transformers 110/35/10 kV 40/40/27 MVA, construction of a new operational building, procurement and installation of medium voltage station, fire detection system, alarms and video surveillance. Substation Bijeljina I is located in the center of the city and covers about 55 % of the city’s electricity demand.
