Macedonian state-owned power utility ELEM has published a tender for the procurement of auxiliary machinery for mining and energy complex (REK) Bitola.
General Director of ELEM Dragan Minoski said that leasing the auxiliary machinery for coal excavation is one of the main costs of ELEM because it does not have its own mechanization. Therefore, the company decided to purchase its own equipment in order to cut the costs of future leasing from external companies. The published tender includes the purchase of a total of 44 machines.
