Enel Distributie Muntenia has commissioned two high-voltage (110 kV) underground lines in order to increase the reliability of link between Fundeni substation, which is managed by state-owned Transelectrica, and Enel managed 110/20 kV Obor and North substations.
The purpose of this project is to increase safety and provide uninterrupted power supply to consumers in Bucharest area, while each of these two underground lines has the capacity to provide stable supply for some 180,000 customers. The estimated value of this investment is over 4.9 million euros. Total length of these two cables is 15.3 kilometers, while their section has 1,600 square millimeters.
