Enel Distributie Muntenia has completed the modernization of the 110 kV transformer station in Pipera, which will allow more stable and reliable electricity supply to about 30,000 customers in the area. The value of the investment is about 0.58 million euros.
The transformer station in question was commissioned in 1971 and so far it has modernized several times, including the introduction in the Telecontrol system. This enables Enel’s technicians to remotely perform energy resupplying maneuvers in case of an emergency.
