Energean Oil & Gas announced that total production at Prinos and Prinos North offshore oil fields in Northeastern Greece has reached 4,000 barrels per day, which twice more compared to the period before the start of the current investment program.
The statement from the company said that the increased production is a result of completed drilling of wells PA-35A and PA-40, as well as the interventions performed at wells which are already producing. These are the first two of fifteen planned wells in the Prinos, Epsilon and Prinos North oil fields in the gulf of Kavala, which has proven and probable reserves of some 30 million barrels of oil.
