Croatian heat and gas distributor Energo intends to use a part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) towards the cost of Rijeka district heating rehabilitation.
Energo has published a tender for the procurement of works for the rehabilitation of the existing district heating pipeline with pre-insulated pipes with installed monitoring system for the area of Rijeka in the total length of 2,250 meters. A total of 2,250 meters of district heating pipes are to be replaced with new pre-insulated pipes. The project encompasses the replacement of the existing parts of the hot water pipeline system lines, all together six lines in the area of Rijeka. The project includes, construction, technical and electrical works and estimated duration of the rehabilitation works is 10 months.
