Bulgarian National Assembly urged the Ministry of Energy to take all necessary measures in order to protect the national interests in the infringement case in which the European Commission (EC) accused state-owned Bulgarian Energy Holding (BEH) and its gas-related subsidiaries Bulgargaz and Bulgartransgaz of abusing the dominant position on the domestic gas market.
The European Commission accused BEH that, through its subsidiaries Bulgargaz and Bulgartransgaz, it has violated the Treaty on the functioning of the European Union by hindering competitors’ access to key gas infrastructure in Bulgaria.
