Director of Bosnian power utility EPBiH Bajazit Jasarevic and Mission Director of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Peter Duffy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding which officially marks the start of a project which aims to encourage investments in new power plants in BiH.
The document defines the cooperation in the analysis of the process of issuing permits for the construction of power generation facilities. The signatories said that the legislative framework in BiH is complex, which poses as an obstacle to the realization of such projects.
