EPBiH’s coalmines decreased their loss by 7 million euros – Bosnia and Herzegovina, 10 August 2016

Seven coalmines that operate within the Bosnian power utility EPBiH in the first half of 2016 decreased their operational loss by 7.05 million euros compared to the same period last year.
Last year, in the first six months coalmines recorded a loss of 22.9 million euros, while in 2016, the loss in the first half of the year amounts to 15.85 million euros. This is a result of measures proposed by the Federal Ministry of Mining and Energy in cooperation with EPBiH, based on the decision to follow daily coal production and rationalize all costs.
