ICGB, a consortium behind the project for the construction of gas interconnection between Bulgaria and Greece (IGB pipeline), announced that five long-term bids were received in the second, binding round of the market test for IGB pipeline.
ICGB said in the statement that the announced capacity in the second phase of the market test amounted to 2.7 billion cubic meters, of which 1.57 billion cubic meters were reserved. It was also announced that due to interest from other companies, which have not participated in the first phase of the market test, there is a possibility to initiate a procedure for the allocation of the remaining capacity, for the participation of the new leasers. The market test will be completed with the signing of advanced reservation capacity agreements with the companies which submitted the offers, upon approval by the national regulators of Bulgaria and Greece.
