Five new SHPPs planned in MBC – Bosnia and Herzegovina, 18 March 2017

On the territory of the Middle Bosnia Canton (MBC) currently there are 28 operational small hydropower plants (SHPP). Most of them are located in Gornji Vakuf and Fojnica municipalities – sin in each.
Expansion of the construction of small hydropower plants in MBC took place in 2005 and 2006, while three such facilities were completed and put into operation during 2016. According to the plan of the Cantonal Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry, two SHPPs should be completed in Gornji Vakuf municipality in 2017, while additional three should be built in Vitez municipality.
