Romanian investment fund Fondul Proprietatea, which is the minority shareholder in electricity producer Nuclearelectrica, wants the company to distribute dividends worth some 23.7 million euros, representing 99 % of the last year’s profit.
The fund has also asked Nuclearelectrica to distribute special dividends worth additional 100 million euros from the profit made in the previous years that has not been distributed to the shareholders. Nuclearelectrica’s Board of Directors previously proposed the payout of 22 million euros in dividends from the company’s net profit for 2016.
