Bulgarian Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Petkova said that she hopes that the construction of gas interconnection between Bulgaria and Romania will be completed by the end of 2016, thus becoming the first gas link with the neighboring state.
Minister Petkova underlined that the Government must work hard toward building gas interconnection with all the neighboring countries, adding that the project for Bulgaria-Romania gas interconnection suffered several long delays due to some technical issue, mainly regarding the section under the Danube river.
