Gas production in Elemir increased by 10 % – Serbia, 6 September 2016

The representatives of Serbian oil company NIS announced that with the opening of amine unit in Elemir, the volume of natural gas production in this facility for preparation and transportation of oil and gas has increased by 10 %.
Director of the facility in Elemir, Predrag Grujic pointed out that the quality of produced natural gas was increased as well, which is now equal in quality to imported Russian gas. He added that the daily capacity of the amine units is 750,000 cubic meters of gas, while the share of carbon dioxide in natural gas produced by NIS decreased to below 3 % in comparison to previous 5 to 8 %.
