The Government of the Republic of Srpska (RS) announced that its gas company Gas-Res and Russian gas company Gazprom have signed an agreement on the establishment of a joint venture company in order to carry out joint investments and commercial activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
RS President Milorad Dodik said on the occasion that the company will be headquartered in Zvornik, a town near the border with Serbia, and that total investment in this joint venture will amount to 70 million euros. According to him, Gas-Res will own a minority stake in the company.
