Gazprom continues to increase gas supply to Europe – Region, 19 August

Although gas pipeline maintenance is usually performed in August, which reduces the amount of purchased natural gas, in this August European customers have import of Russian natural gas by 10.4 % compared to the same month a year ago.
According to the data published by Russian gas company Gazprom, in the first half of August Germany imported about 2 billion cubic meters of gas, which is 11.7 % more than in the same period in 2015 and 22.1 % more than in the first half of July 2016.
