Speaking at the Russian-Greek business forum in Thessaloniki, Russian Minister of energy Alexander Novak said that gas company Gazprom is negotiating projects that may begin in Greece through its affiliated companies, including coal mining.
Gazprom is already present in Greek energy market, since Gazpromexport holds 50 % stake in joint Russian-Greek venture Prometheus Gas, in which, Greek Copelouzos Group holds the remaining 50 %.
