The statement from the Romanian Ministry of Energy said that it has authorized the construction of gas pipelines on the route Onesti-Gherasti and Gherasti-Letcani. The two pipelines, with a total length of 169 kilometers, are to be connected to the existing Iasi-Ungheni gas pipeline.
The effective construction of the two pipelines is estimated to start in 2018 and the putting into operation is scheduled for 2019, while the project’s costs are estimated at 131.7 million euros.
