Romanian electricity producer Hidroelectrica will supply electricity to the public transport network in Bucharest (RATB) in the next 12 months, according to the signed deal worth about 7.4 million euros, excluding VAT.
E.ON Energie Romania also participated at the auction and the award criterion was the lowest price. The agreement value was originally estimated at 7.45 million euros, at an energy consumption of up to 100 GWh for 12 months.
