Romanian electricity producer Hidroelectrica and the operator of Bucharest subway Metrorex have signed the agreement for the supply of electricity between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2017.
Hidroelectrica’s offer of 12.7 million euros was selected as best on the public tender, with the participation of six other bidders including CEZ Vanzare, Arelco Power, Electrica Furnizare, Tinmar Energy, Enel Energie and RWE Energie. The contract involves the delivery of 170,000 MWh of electricity in the course of one year.
