The Bulgarian Government announced that it has extended the concession contract with local company Oil and Gas Exploration and Production for 1-12 Knezha block for another two years.
According to the statement from the Government, the company requested the extension of the concession contract due to the need for further exploration of the block’s potential. Oil & Gas Exploration and Production operates the onshore 1-12 Knezha block in northern Bulgaria since 2010. So far, the company was granted concession for gas and condensate extraction at Iskar-West field.
