The subsidiary of the World Bank, the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) have allocated the second tranche of loan for Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline (TANAP) project. The recipient of the loan is the Azeri Southern Gas Corridor closed joint stock company.
The IBRD allocated the second tranche of its loan in the amount of 146.3 million dollars on 30 March, while the AIIB allocated 219.5 million dollars on 5 April. The first tranche of the loan from both financial institutions was allocated in February (108.4 million dollars and 162.6 million dollars, respectively).
