The International Financial Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Albanian Government regarding the establishment of day-ahead electricity exchange in the country.
The statement said that IFC will advise the Albanian Government on the establishment of day-ahead electricity market which will allow Albania to easily buy and sell electricity from and to its neighboring countries.
