Croatian electricity market operator HROTE announced that at the beginning of September total installed capacity of facilities that produce electricity from renewable energy sources (RES) reached 637.48 MW.
According to HROTE, there are 1,286 such facilities in Croatia, which are incorporated in the system of eligible electricity producers. These facilities include 10 small hydropower plants with total installed capacity of 3.25 MW, 11 biomass power plants with total capacity of 24.89 MW. Total capacity in biogas power plants stood at 25.12 MW and there are also two plants on landfill gas and gas from wastewater treatment plants with power output of 5.5 MW.
