Albanian Ministry of Energy announced that it has received a proposal for the construction of 500 MW gas-fired cogeneration power plant in Korca in southwestern Albania, from Austrian company Ivicom.
The value of the project supported by Ivicom and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) is about 500 million euros and the Austrian company has already concluded a feasibility study on the project which will be completely privately funded.
