Kolubara produced 18.55 million tons of coal in 2016 – Serbia, 29 September 2016

RB Kolubara, a subsidiary of the Serbian state-owned power utility EPS, which operates the Kolubara coalmines, announced that the company has produced 18.55 million tons of lignite in the first eight months of 2016, which is in accordance with the production plan for this year.
The largest amount of coal in 2016 was excavated at Tamnava West Field open pit mine with 8.21 million tons of coal in the first eight months of the year, followed by Field D open pit mine with 7.71 million tons produced during the same period. Good production results were also achieved on monthly level.
