According to Bosnian media, Croatian company Koncar and local company Euro-Asfalt, which will act as subcontractor, are expected to take over the construction of hydropower plant Vraduk very soon.
Therefore, this Croatian-Bosnian consortium will replace Austrian Strabag, the original contractor for the project, who terminated the contract with Bosnian power utility EPBiH, dissatisfied with the financial conditions. The agreement with the new consortium is finalized, only the confirmation on the change of contractor, which must be given by an international creditor, is awaiting and it should be provided within the next few days.
