The Council of the local community of Krupa na Vrbasu, where hydropower plant Krupa on the river Vrbas should be built, decided that it is against the planned construction of the hydropower plant.
Banja Luka Environmental Center welcomed this decision, adding that it is a clear signal to the investor that the local community is aware of all negative consequences of the planned HPP. Natasa Crnkovic from the Environmental Center said that the organization will seek for legal mechanisms that would enable wider population to voice their opinion on the project.
