China Energy Group and Bosnian company Lager have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on the construction of coalmine and thermal power plant Kamengrad, near Sanski Most, a project worth over 500 million euros.
Statement from the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA) of Bosnia and Herzegovina said that the memorandum was signed on the sidelines of a meeting of the heads of Governments of China and 16 Central and East European countries held in Budapest. The future coal-fired TPP will have to units with power output of 215 MW each, and Chinese investor will soon make a decision on the financing model of the project.
