Hungarian MET Group has approved the final investment decision on the 17.6 MW Dunai solar park, one of the largest solar power plants in Hungary.
The 17.6 MW solar power plant, which is expected to become operational in the third quarter of 2018, will be built over an area of 40 hectares, partly occupying the site of the Dunamenti power plant. The 25 million euros worth project will supply power equivalent to the consumption of around 9,000 households.
