Mineco to build SHPP on Drinjaca river in RS – Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1 February 2017

UK-based base metal mining company Mineco announced that it will soon start the construction of small hydropower plant (SHPP) Medos 1 worth 10 million euros on the river Drinjaca in the Republic of Srpska.
SHPP Medos 1 will have installed capacity of 4.71 MW and annual electricity generation of 18 million kWh. The statement from Mineco said that the entire project for the construction of SHPP Medos 1 has already been completed and the construction works will start when weather conditions allow.
