Greek Minister of Energy Panos Skourletis has once again expressed objection to a plan proposed by the State Privatization Fund (TAIPED), which envisages the sale of 17 % stake in Public Power Corporation (PPC).
Minister Skourletis stressed that TAIPED is wrongly extending its reach into other domains beyond the scope of its responsibilities, adding that this organization was inherited from the previous Government and its actions are based on the momentum from the past. He explained that the transfer of PPC’s 17 % stake during the terms of previous Government does not mean that it must be sold.
