Hungarian oil and gas company MOL and its partners in the project announced the start of oil production at the Catcher Development zone in the North Sea.
The statement said that the production will be gradually increased in the coming months, initially from the Catcher field, followed by the Varadero and Bergman fields. MOL holds 20 % stake in the project, Premier Oil, which is also the field’s operator, holds 50 %, while Cairn has 20 % and Dyas 10 % stake.
