Croatia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the representatives of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on a project for the constriction of Ionian-Adriatic gas pipeline (IAP) at the Dubrovnik Forum.
Croatian Minister of Economy Tomislav Panenic said that countries involved have defined their joint initiative for the development of the Ionian-Adriatic gas pipeline as a route that will make sure that these markets are provided with natural gas. This route will be a connection between the north and the south and will pave a way for full liberalization of the gas supply market in Europe.
