According to the Government’s decision, a state aid in the amount of some 97 million euros will be granted to the Romanian National Uranium Company (CNU) for restructuring the company’s economic activity.
Granting the state aid is conditioned by the implementation of a restructuring plan approved by the Ministry of Energy, which is the company’ main shareholder. The European Commission will also have to approve the restructuring plan before it is implemented.
