Norwegian company REN AS plans to invest 18.7 million euros in the construction of biomass-fired power and heating plant in Croatian Zakanje municipality, near the town of Karlovac.
The investment envisages the construction of two plants on an area covering 23,000 square meters, one for the production of biomass pellets and combined heat and power plant. The construction is planned to start in spring this year and both plants should be completed in summer 2019.
