Romanian electricity producer Nuclearelectrica, which operates the country’s sole nuclear power plant Cernavoda, recorded an unaudited net profit of 14.9 million euros in the first quarter of 2016, which is 88.68 % more than in the same period last year, when company’s profit stood at 7.45 million euros.
The company’s revenues dropped by 2.4 % to 102 million euros in the said period, while the company’s expenses decreased by 14.42 % and amounted to 84.35 million euros.
