Number of eligible consumers decreased by 11.3 % in January – Turkey, 12 February 2018

According to the latest data published by Turkish Energy Exchange (EPIAS), the number of electricity consumers with the right to purchase electricity from their preferable supplier decreased by 11.3 % in January 2018, compared to December last year.
In 2018, consumers who use more than 2,000 kWh of electricity per year qualify as eligible consumers. In other words, customers with a monthly power bill over 15 euros are classified as eligible. The number of consumers in this category currently stands at 4.17 million.
