Oil imports rose by 26 % in the first half of 2018 – Romania, 20 August 2018

According to the data provided by Romanian National Institute for Statistics (INS), in the first half of 2018 Romania imported 4.18 million tons of crude oil equivalent, which is 26 % more than in the same period last year.
At the same time, crude oil production in Romania amounted to 1.67 million tons of oil equivalent, which is 2.9 % less compared to the same period in 2017.
