According to the report released by OMV Petrom, Romanian subsidiary of Austrian OMV Group, the company has produced 170,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the fourth quarter of 2016, which is 3.4 % less compared to the same period in 2015.
Both oil and natural gas production was decreased in the last quarter of 2016. On the other side, OMV Petrom increased sales to third parties to 12.41 TWh compared to 10.7 TWh in the fourth quarter of 2015. The sales increased although gas production dropped by 4,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day compared to the last three months of 2015, totaling 92,000 barrels.
