OPCOM day-ahead traded volume rose by 8.17 % in January – Romania, 13 February 2018

The volume of electricity traded on the day-ahead market (DAM) on the Romanian energy exchange OPCOM rose by 8.17 % in January, compared to the previous month, and reached 2.216 million MWh.
However, the value of all transaction on the day-ahead market in January amounted to some 77.8 million euros, which is 2.51 % lower than in December 2017. Compared to January 2017, traded volume decreased by 12.76 %, while the value of transactions decreased by 57.78 %.
