Pljevlja coalmine recorded a loss of 2.22 million euros in the second quarter of 2016, compared to net profit of 2.12 million euros achieved in the same period last year.
According to the statement from the Montenegrin Stock Exchange, operating income of the coalmine at the end of June amounted to 13.41 million euros, which is 46.7 % less than in the same period in 2015. Operating expenses dropped by 31 % to 15.45 million euros. Salaries, benefits and other personnel expenses reached 7 million euros, costs of materials amounted to 3.71 million euros, depreciation and provisions reached 2.59 million euros, while other expenses reached 2.08 million euros.
