According to Bulgarian National Statistical Institute, the production of electricity in June 2016 increased by 10.8 % compared to May, to 3,427 GWh, while deliveries of electricity decreased by 1.3 % on monthly basis and amounted to 2,388 GWh. Production of natural gas in June 2016 decreased by 14.3 % compared to last month and amounted to 6 million cubic meters, while its deliveries decreased by 13 % and amounted to 200 million cubic meters.
Compared to June 2015, the production of electricity has decreased by 9 %, while its deliveries increased by 2.6 %. The production of natural gas remained approximately at the same level, while its deliveries rose by 1 % compared to June 2015.
