Energy Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Srpska (RERS) held a public hearing on the draft permit for the production of electricity to local company Elektros for small hydropower plant Govza B-G-1 on the same river in Foca municipality.
The maximum installed capacity in this run-of-the-river hydropower plant with two turbines, which has been put into trial operation last year, is 4.9 MW. One of the owners of Eketros, Braco Stupar said that the plant will soon get all the necessary permits and certificates and that the commercial production of electricity will start in April or May.
