Last week, the rehabilitation of diversion tunnel at hydropower plant Dubrovnik has been completed and some 250,000 euros was allocated for the implementation of this project, confirmed Vedran Furtula, Head of Supervision Department at “Hidroelektrane na Trebisnjici”, a subsidiary of power utility ERS.
Furtula stressed that such large-scale rehabilitation has been performed for the first time in over 50 years of plant’s operational life. The aim of these works on diversion tunnel is to reduce water losses and to enable stable operation of the plant.
