According to the proposal of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Energy, the fee for the promotion of renewable energy sources (RES) would be increased from current 0.0049 euros/kWh to 0.0105 euros/kWh, without VAT. The public debate on this proposal has started and it will last until 10 April.
This is the first time that the increase of renewables fee is discussed at the public hearing. So far, the fees for the next year were determined at the end of the current year, in accordance to projections of the entry of new RES facilities in the incentives system.
