The company South Caucasus Gas Pipeline (SCPC), which is partly controlled by the Azeri state oil company SOCAR, plans to raise a total of seven billion dollars from foreign investors for the expansion of South Caucasus gas pipeline.
So far, the company raised about one billion dollars and it is planned to raise additional 1.5 billion dollars by the end of 2016 for the construction of gas pipeline which will carry Azeri natural gas from Shah Deniz 2 field to Europe. According to plan, the remaining 4.5 billion dollars should be raised in 2017.
