Local subsidiary of Italian UniCredit Bank announced that it has signed a loan agreement with coalmine and thermal power plant (RiTE) Ugljevik for the construction and reconstruction of electrostatic filters.
The loan proceeds will be used to finance the procurement and installation of electrostatic filters, as well as to build a facility that will house those filters. This project will help TPP Ugljevik to meet EU regulations by reducing particulate emissions. The value of the loan was not disclosed in the bank’s statement.
